I Have an Assistant, Why do I need a VA?

Cynthia Hull

Your assistant is truly your right hand. You seem to share a brain and communicate easily. She shares your goals for your company and helps drive your success. Why do you need a VA?

Your assistant is probably spending time on tasks that need to be outsourced: schedule management, travel planning, slideshow creation, online research. You can create more time in your assistant’s day and free up some of her valuable energy by outsourcing tasks she can easily oversee.

Calendar and Schedule Management: Your VA can reconfirm your appointment date and time, plus confirm location and provide links to directions.

Travel Planning: Your VA can do the necessary research on flight times and fares, plus hotel availability and rates, car service, restaurant reservations. She can make reservations, provide complete itineraries and manage your loyalty programs.

Slideshow Creation: Your VA can help with presentation slideshows, from original drafts to final edits.

Online Research: Whether you need to purchase office equipment or research topics for your blog, your VA can provide the necessary research. Your VA can also provide notes from webinars you are unable to attend.

Ask your assistant! She may have many other ideas that would free her time and energy to allow her to provide even better assistance to you.

“Try not to become a man of success. Rather become a man of value.”
